Unit 1.4 - Poster

This is my poster that I have created on photo shop using the same picture which is on the leaflet cover so that it creates similarity between my poster and the leaflet. I used the picture which was manipulated on photo shop which I copied from the leaflet for the reasons above. I made a new slogan for my poster which states "Technology in its best form". At the background, I have added these faded in coloured boxes to create effect on the poster making it stand out. The three main colors are blue, red and green. I have used Red to represent Love and passion. Black to represent power and control, and the Green to represnt Eco-city. I have added this picture of a soundwave from Google images to represent the passion for music that Southbank has. I also added brushes in the poster to make the poster more vibrant and to make it gleam wherever it was. I also decided to place the slogan "Technology in its best form" because in the picture, my colleagues holding a camera representing technology. The font I used to write the text "Welcome to South bank" was a flowery font which I downloaded from the website.
